Job summary

Harbor Healthcare System in Houston is seeking a full-time Volunteer Coordinator Director to lead the recruitment and training of Volunteer Coordinators across Harbor/Beacon offices. The role will serve as a primary resource for education, support and compliance for the volunteer program.

The position requires management experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to healthcare service delivery in the Houston area.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare field experience as a Volunteer is preferred.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mandatory).
• Warm, people-oriented personality.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Clean background and drug screen.
