Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Pooler, Georgia is seeking Events and Ministry Coordinators to create exceptional experiences for apartment community residents. Coordinators will plan monthly events, enhance community connections, manage a budget, and engage volunteers. Candidates must be 18 or older, legally able to work in the U.S., and possess a driver’s license. Previous event planning experience is preferred. This position is not paid and requires commitment during evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Have basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements.
Possess a current driver’s license and insurance, and reliable transportation.
Be physically able to perform job tasks with a weight limit of 25 pounds.
Availability for weekly hours primarily in evenings and weekends.
Commit to the minimum term of service in the apartment community.
Responsibilities
Plan and host monthly resident events to foster connections.
Provide caring support to residents and staff.
Invite residents to share online experiences.
Develop marketing materials for activities.
Manage the event budget and prepare monthly summaries.
Engage a volunteer support team to maximize impact.
Visit new residents after they move in.
