Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is seeking an Events and Ministry Coordinator in Athens, Ohio. This volunteer role focuses on creating an excellent Apartment Life experience through organizing events, connecting residents, and providing engaging community interactions. Ideal candidates will be mission-minded and possess strong relational skills, alongside the ability to navigate the planning and execution of social activities effectively.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Basic fluency in English for marketing and reports.
• Current driver's license and liability insurance required.
• Physically able to perform several tasks including carrying weight.
• Availability during evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to a minimum term in the community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and host 2 events each month for residents.
• Provide caring touch to residents and staff.
• Enhance online reputation by inviting feedback.
• Develop marketing material for activities.
• Manage the event budget process.
• Prepare monthly summaries and meet with staff.
• Engage support team of volunteers and vendors.
• Visit new residents shortly after they move-in.
