Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a CDL bus driver to provide safe, punctual transportation for public school students to and from LifeWise sites. Candidates must have a CDL with P endorsement and a clean driving record, and should be active in a local church aligned with our faith statement.

Age range is 21–80. Background checks and annual drug/alcohol testing are required, with yearly CDL evidence for those over 75. Training and potential classroom volunteering are part of the role.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement is required.
• School bus endorsement is preferred.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in the last five years.
• Age 21–80; drivers over 75 must submit CDL copy annually with P endorsement.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing are required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
• Complete training required by LifeWise Academy.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if approved by director.
