Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated LifeWise Secondary Education teacher for grades 6-12. The ideal candidate participates actively in a local church, demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is committed to caring for students using LifeWise curriculum and policies.

The role requires completing initial training and achieving LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, while engaging with the community through events and meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy's Statement of Faith.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and obtain LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach using LifeWise curriculum, map out lesson plans and customize where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate attendance, rosters, health concerns and permission slips for students.
• Maintain an organized, clean, age-appropriate classroom and promote a redemptive discipline approach.
• Communicate with program director, school staff and volunteers; attend LifeWise events as required.
