LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated teacher to deliver LifeWise curriculum to middle and high school students. The role emphasizes a strong Christian faith, active church involvement, and compassionate, effective classroom communication.

Responsibilities include planning lessons, maintaining records, and engaging students with age-appropriate methods while upholding LifeWise policies and fostering a faith-centered learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate attendance and class rosters, including health concerns and student permissions.
• Keep a well-organized classroom environment and apply redemptive discipline strategies.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and the program director; submit updates and photos as required.
