Responsibilities include complete substitute teacher training, teaching LifeWise classes as needed, implementing lesson plans, maintaining a safe and organized classroom, and adhering to discipline policies.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's statement.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the lesson plans using LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and provide them to the teacher.
• Keep a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom.
• Know procedures for emergency situations.
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and assign duties.
• Communicate with the teacher.
