Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks dedicated teachers to share the gospel in classroom settings with public school students. The ideal candidate is a church-active educator with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring, perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

Applicants should demonstrate a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise's Statement of Faith and ongoing church involvement, with commitment to LifeWise training and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church settings.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including Teacher Certification within 30 days and annual LifeWise Summit.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and customize as needed.
• Build relationships with students and pray for them regularly; maintain an orderly, redemptive classroom environment.
• Maintain attendance, health notes, rosters, and prepare materials for substitutes as needed.
• Stay up to date on training and updates via LifeWise communications.
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers; participate in outreach events; promote LifeWise's mission.
