Job summary

CVR Energy, Inc. is seeking a Manager Refined Products Accounting - Volumetric to own the integrity of volumetric inventory records and GL balances for refined products and NGLs.

You will lead a team reconciling movements across pipelines and terminals, ensuring accurate reporting under US GAAP and SOX controls. You will collaborate with commercial, mid-office, and yield accounting, drive process improvements, and support auditors with timely, accurate financial information.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience in downstream energy with inventory focus.
• 2+ years supervising professional staff.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent English, both oral and written.
• Ability to adjust schedule to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close for volumetric inventory and related GL balances.
• Lead reconciliations of pipeline, terminal, rail, and truck movements.
• Coordinate with commercial, mid-office, and yield accounting to resolve issues.
• Prepare inventory valuations, COGS analyses, and variance reporting.
• Develop staff and cross-train team members for process improvements.
• Manage SOX controls and liaise with internal/external auditors.
