Eaton Corporation is hiring an Assembler for the 1st shift (Regulators) in Waukesha, WI. The role focuses on assembling voltage regulators in a continuous flow environment to meet customer service requirements.

You will follow standard work, use calibrated tooling, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure timely delivery. The job includes ratio testing, crane operation, and potential overtime with shift premium.

Competenze

• Minimum of 6 months of experience or education in assembly, manufacturing, or the military.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI will be considered.

Mansioni

• Follow standard work and 5S, perform a visual inspection of the previous operation, and construct and test all types of tap changers using our standard work.
• Build the product per work instructions and quality standards with calibrated tooling (pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, etc.).
• Build and fulfill requirements, work closely with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure on-time completion and shipment.
• Conduct ratio testing on the unit and troubleshoot issues to complete ratio tests.
• Move units using overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles.
• Repair units and components that have failed testing or require changes.
• Participate in teardown, repair, and modification of customer-supplied equipment as directed by engineering or quality.
• Troubleshoot as needed throughout the process.
