Job summary

Volo Sports in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a part-time Host for pickleball leagues and events. You’ll serve as a friendly contact for players at facilities and bars, help with check-ins, score updates, and ensure a safe, fun environment.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication, a passion for sports, and the ability to multi-task under pressure. Weekend/night availability is a must; training and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to work weekends and/or nights.
• Knowledge of the rules of the sport, ideally previous referee/umpire experience
• Interest in sports and social activities
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Works well in a team atmosphere
• Ability to multi-task and make decisions under pressure
• Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds
• Positive, solution-oriented mindset with clear communication
• Proficient customer service skills
• Certified referees may qualify for a higher starting rate.
