Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coaches individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved.
• Plans and schedules a regular program of practice for each student.
• Assists the head coach in scheduling contests.
• Recommends purchase of equipment, supplies, and uniforms.
• Inspects the facility to ensure safety conditions.
• Helps enforce the established performance criteria for eligibility.
• Enforces discipline and sportsmanlike behavior.
• Supervises paraprofessionals when assigned.
