Qualifications

• Coaches individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved.
• Plans and schedules a regular program of practice for each student.
• Assists the head coach in scheduling intramural and interscholastic contests.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the facility to ensure safety conditions.
• Helps enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior.
• Supervises paraprofessionals when assigned to the coaching staff.

Education
