Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coaches individual participants in sport-specific skills.
• Plans and schedules regular practice programs with head coach.
• Assists in scheduling intramural and interscholastic contests.
• Recommends equipment, supplies and uniforms as needed.
• Inspects facilities to ensure safe playing conditions.
• Enforces eligibility criteria for competition.
• Maintains discipline and sportsmanship among pupils.
• May supervise paraprofessionals on the coaching staff.
• Participates in duties described in the teacher job description.
• Performs related duties as assigned by Head Coach or Principal.
