Job summary

Maxson & Hubbard Middle School (Grades 6-8) in New Jersey is seeking an Athletics/Activities/Coaching staff member. The role requires a BA degree, NJ teaching certification, CPR/AED, and NFHS coaching certifications.

Substitute certification may suffice in special cases; prior coaching experience is preferred and active participation in the sport is valued for skill mastery. The position may involve coaching a designated sport, with duties including supervising practices, coordinating safety

Qualifications:

• Education: BA Degree (Note: only in very special and unusual situations, the county Substitute requirements may be sufficient).
• Requirement: (Valid County Substitute Certificate may be sufficient).
• Experience: Previous assistant or head coaching experience is desired. Sufficient participation in the designated sport where basic skills and techniques of the game are learned and some mastered.
• Certification: Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate, CPR/AED and Sports First Aid (Please submit a copy of certifications)
