Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking an Athletics/Activities/Coaching staff member for Maxson & Hubbard Middle School (grades 6-8). You will lead middle school athletic programs, apply sport-specific coaching techniques, and ensure student safety.

Requirements include a BA degree, NJ teaching certificate, CPR/AED and First Aid, plus NFHS coaching courses. Substitute certification may suffice in special cases; salaries may adjust per the PEA contract.

Qualifications

• Education: BA Degree; county substitute requirements may be sufficient in special situations.
• Requirement: Valid County Substitute Certificate may be sufficient.
• Experience: Previous assistant or head coaching experience is desired; involvement in the sport to teach basic skills.
• Certification: Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate, CPR/AED and Sports First Aid (submit certifications).

Responsibilities

• Coaching duties as assigned for middle school athletics/activities.
• Implement sport-specific coaching strategies and safety protocols.
• Maintain necessary certifications and participate in required NFHS courses.

• Experience: Previous assistant or head coaching experience is desired. Sufficient participation in the designated sport where basic skills and techniques of the game are learned and some mastered.
• Certification: Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate, CPR/AED and Sports First Aid (Please submit a copy of certifications)
