Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools is seeking a Volleyball Assistant Coach for the upcoming season. The role involves planning and supervising the team at practices and games, coordinating schedules with the Activities Office, and assisting with coaching staff development.

Qualifications

Knowledge of the sport of volleyball and coaching principles.
Understanding of district athletic policies and codes of conduct.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

Plan, accompany and supervise the team to and from all events including practices and competitions.
Assist the Director of Activities with hiring, development and evaluation of assistant coaches.
Coordinate practice and game schedules with relevant offices and coaches.
Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times.
Plan and implement conditioning and weight programs with center staff.
Maintain and prepare rosters, records, and equipment inventories.
