Job summary

Hendrick Volkswagen of Concord is hiring two Express Technicians to support VW service. No VW experience is required; you’ll receive 100% paid factory training and ASE certifications as you learn the VW platform.

This full-time role starts at 18.50 per hour with performance pay and a clear path to advancement. Responsibilities include express lane oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and reporting repairs to the service advisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Some automotive experience or technical training preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn the Volkswagen platform.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts including rotating Saturdays and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform express lane services — oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid top-offs, and multi-point inspections.
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on Volkswagen vehicles.
• Report necessary repairs to the service advisor accurately and promptly.
• Verify fluid levels and ensure vehicles are clean before return to customer.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Participate in required VW factory training and stay current on brand updates.
• Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
• Follow all safety protocols, Safeguards rules, and company policies.
