The successful candidate will join in recruitment efforts, community engagement, and service activities aligned with the teaching load. Emphasis on student success and supporting UTRGV's mission and priorities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Vocal Performance or related field (completed by July 1, 2027 allowed).
• Active performer with potential for continued growth in vocal area.
• Record of, and potential for, teaching and recruitment at university level; experience leading opera workshop productions.

Responsibilities

• Teach applied voice lessons, opera workshop, and related courses as assigned by the Director.
• Participate in recruitment, community engagement, and service activities relevant to teaching load.
