Qualifications

• Terminal degree required in Vocal Pedagogy or related field.
• Proven scholarly/creative achievement through presentation, publication, or performance.
• Two years of college-level teaching in applied voice and opera direction.
• ABD status considered if degree is conferred by Aug 2027.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and teach assigned courses with syllabi and assessments.
• Direct opera workshop and oversee productions for FGCU student performers.
• Develop an active research/artist program with undergraduate involvement.
• Collaborate with theatre and music faculty to present performances.
• Maintain community relationships and engage in service to the university.
