• DMA in Percussion from an accredited university; completion by July 1, 2027 if not finished yet.
• Demonstrated success in teaching percussion.
• Documented experience and accomplishments in percussion performance.

Responsibilities

• Teach applied percussion lessons, chamber music, and percussion literature/pedagogy courses.
• Recruit, mentor, and advise percussion students.
• Develop and maintain a strong regional, national, and international profile as performer and educator.
• Collaborate with percussion faculty across Brownsville and Edinburg campuses.
