Job summary

Menchey School of Music in Hanover is seeking an enthusiastic vocal instructor to join our Hanover studio. Teach engaging private lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels, fostering confidence and musical growth.

You’ll work with supportive staff, schedule lessons digitally, prepare students for recitals, and participate in a community that values education and performance opportunities. A bachelor’s degree in music is preferred, with strong communication and reliability essential

Qualifications

• 2+ years of college-level music training or 5+ years of teaching or professional performance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in music education or performance preferred; candidates currently pursuing a degree encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with learners of all ages and skill levels is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach private vocal lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Create a positive, encouraging, and educational lesson environment.
• Help students grow musically, prepare for recitals, and participate in performance opportunities.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff.
• Keep attendance and lesson records using our digital scheduling system.
