Job summary

Perishable Distributors of Iowa is seeking a Warehouse Selector – Level I to efficiently pick, verify, and palletize customer orders for transport. You will operate stand-up pallet jacks and VAU headsets, ensure product accuracy, and maintain safety and quality standards in a refrigerated/dry warehouse environment.

The role requires 18+ years old, basic English, and adherence to shift schedules including weeknights/weekends. High school or equivalent preferred; prior warehouse exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Reads and speaks English.
• Meets 90% productivity and 100% quality after training.
• Must be 18+ to operate warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work on time per schedule and follows attendance policies.
• Maintains sanitation and reports issues to supervisor.
• Operates powered industrial equipment safely and follows safety rules.
• Maintains required productivity and quality levels per Standards Program.
• Selects products for shipment using stand-up rider pallet jack and VAU headset.
• Stacks and palletizes products, stretches wrap, and labels pallets.
