Job summary

Fresh Express Salads is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move materials in the warehouse using forklift, walker, or hand jack. You will follow product rotation procedures and handle all required documentation and Voice order picking.

The role includes staging or direct loading of orders into trailers and maintaining a safe, efficient workplace. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, operating powered jacks, and ensuring accurate workflow while coordinating with supervisors and QA.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Basic math skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish and/or English/Polish.
• Forklift certification strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma highly desirable.
• Food industry experience a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience meeting or exceeding high internal/external customer expectations.
• Past experience working in a Voice order picking environment.
• Past experience working in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Use Voice system to pick and load orders.
• Inspect powered jacks and powered trucks for safety.
• Operate powered jacks/powered trucks.
• Maintain clean and orderly dock areas and coolers.
• Communicate with supervisors, clerks, production, and QA as needed.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and accurate documentation.
• Stage orders in designated areas or load directly into trailers.
• Perform other duties as required.
