Job summary

Codesearch AI in New York City is building a forward deployed engineering function to own end-to-end customer workstreams for high-volume voice AI deployments. You will shape how we design, implement, and monitor agent workflows, translating client needs into production-ready solutions while closely collaborating with the engineering team.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years total, with at least two years in a customer-facing engineering role
• At least two years shipping production software as a full-stack engineer
• Built and scaled agentic workflows in production, not prototypes
• Genuinely client-facing: can run technical discovery and carry it to production
• Startup experience; big tech only acceptable if preceded by scrappy early work
• Technical degree in computer science, engineering, maths or similar

Responsibilities

• Own the post-sale cycle end to end: gather requirements from the customer, define what gets built, drive it to go-live, then keep improving it
• Get deep on each customer's workflows and objectives to design the agent and evaluation around it
• Monitor agent performance in production, identify failure patterns, and ship improvements based on real feedback
• Work with engineering to identify capabilities worth building into core product instead of per-account builds
• Own the relationship after go-live: the trusted technical contact and account growth driver
• Shape the function's operations: the implementation playbook, processes and standards; the team is small so your work sticks
