Job summary

Deepgram is offering an internship for Fall 2026/Summer 2027 cohorts. You will work on a real project within the engineering team building voice-native models and the platform that delivers them at production scale.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with real-time ASR, TTS, and LLM connectivity while collaborating with researchers and engineers. You will be mentored, ship end-to-end features, and apply AI tooling in daily workflows.

Qualifications

• Built projects, tools, or scripts to solve real problems.
• Uses AI as a default in learning and building.
• Reason from first principles when debugging.
• Writes and reads code in at least one language.
• Explains work clearly, including what broke and what to improve.
• Seeks feedback and strives to improve.
• Curious and motivated to tackle hard problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship a scoped project end to end with mentorship.
• Contribute to production Deepgram codebase across platforms.
• Explore voice AI concepts like real-time systems and ML.
• Prototype using AI tooling and share improvements with the team.
