Job summary

Matcha is seeking a Voice Agent Engineer to bridge GTM AI agents with real-world customer outcomes. You’ll design and iterate fullstack systems powering AI agents from concept to deployment.

You will collaborate with product, design, and GTM teams to improve UX for non-technical users, document findings, and participate in global technical deep dives. Location is SF in-office or remote across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a product-oriented software engineering role.
• CS/Engineering degree; startup/consulting/customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Strong programming fundamentals in Typescript, React, NextJS, and NodeJS.
• Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and debugging live systems.
• Interest in AI/ML, conversational AI, or voice technologies.
• Bias for action; shipping quickly and improving in live deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and iterate on fullstack systems that power AI agents from concept to deployment.
• Research and evaluate new approaches to agent orchestration, prompting strategies, and model alignment.
• Collaborate with product, design, and GTM teams to improve UX and usability for non-technical users.
• Share learnings, document findings, and contribute to internal best practices.
• Participate in peer reviews, brainstorming sessions, and technical deep dives with our global team.
