Job summary

Volvo Construction Equipment in Shippensburg, PA seeks a Vocational Trainee to apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting and support Volvo Group projects. You will work with teams on inventory and production-related tasks, gaining hands-on experience across the logistics chain.

The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Applicants must be enrolled in school and meet minimum GPA requirements; training and housing support may be provided.

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Must be at least 17 years of age.

What You Will Do

The Vocational Trainee role provides students with the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in a professional environment, and to support/promote the student's career goals through contact with professionals in their field of study. The internship experience enables students to participate in professional activities for Volvo Group by working on important and innovative projects. Vocational Trainee positions are structured learning experiences where students and our full time professionals work together on projects within their selected organization. This allows students to integrate knowledge and skills in a manner that is mutually beneficial to the student and Volvo (BA/BU).

For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $17.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study.
