Job summary

Baltimore City Public Schools seeks a Teacher for the Vocational- Business Management & Finance Pathway in a high school setting. Responsible for delivering a skills-based Career Technology Education program aligned with the Baltimore City curriculum.

The role includes preparing students for industry certifications (MOS, CLEP), managing classrooms and labs, and coordinating with staff across multiple sites to ensure student success and employability in finance and business fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Career and Technology Education or related field (or equivalent by combining degree and work experience).
• Three to five years of industry-related work experience.
• Experience in finance, business administration services, business management, accounting, and/or marketing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a CTE program in Business Management & Finance.
• Prepare students to sit for and pass industry certification exams (MOS, CLEP).
• Supervise classroom and lab activities and collaborate with staff to maximize learning.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress to parents and administration.
