Job summary

Brightli is seeking a part-time Vocational Support Specialist in Farmington, MO to empower individuals with disabilities toward meaningful employment. You will provide individualized training, job readiness, and community-based support to help clients reach their personal and career goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitation, employment services, case management, social services, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and facilitate vocational, pre-vocational, social, and independent living skill development activities.
• Support individuals through career exploration, employment preparation, job placement, and employment retention activities.
• Provide onsite and offsite job coaching to help clients learn duties, develop workplace relationships, and achieve success in competitive employment.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans, lessons, strategies, and activities aligned with client goals.
• Coordinate work-based learning experiences, onboarding activities, timesheets, and employment-related documentation.
• Transport clients as needed to support participation in services and achievement of goals.
• Establish and maintain community-based training and employment sites that promote skill development and career growth.
• Educate employers on benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities and assist with accommodations.
