Job summary

Brightli, in partnership with Firefly Employment Services, seeks a dedicated Vocational Support Specialist to empower individuals toward meaningful employment in Wentzville and St. Peters, MO.

You will coach, plan, and support clients through career exploration, job search, and sustained workplace success. Responsibilities include developing individualized service plans, facilitating on-site and off-site coaching, and partnering with local employers to create inclusive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation, human services, social services, education, psychology, business, or a related field preferred.
• Bring experience in vocational rehabilitation, supported employment, job coaching, case management, disability services, social services, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach individuals as they develop career goals, workplace skills, confidence, and greater independence.
• Guide clients through career exploration, job seeking, onboarding, workplace adjustment, and long-term employment success.
• Build relationships with local employers to create inclusive employment, training, and work-based learning opportunities.
• Develop individualized service plans based on strengths, abilities, preferences, and goals.
• Provide on-site and off-site job coaching, skill development, and personalized workplace support.
• Advocate for clients while collaborating with employers, referral sources, families, and community partners.
