Job summary

Sevita, through NeuroRestorative, is seeking a Vocational Supervisor to lead vocational rehabilitation activities and coordinate job coaching across community placements. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to design productive programs for individuals with complex needs, ensuring staff training is current and programs run smoothly.

You will also help orient participants to the woodshop, oversee safety, manage supplies, and participate in budget and scheduling processes to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or related field preferred.
• 1 year of experience working with special needs populations; supervisory experience preferred.
• Woodshop experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills and effective communications skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
• A reliable, responsible attitude and commitment to the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop productive vocational activity programs with interdisciplinary teams.
• Work with vocational representatives to coordinate job coaching for community placements.
• Promote staff teamwork on the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Direct staff training for therapeutic programming and ensure training is current.
• Coordinate participant orientation into the woodshop and ensure safe operations and inventories.
• Assist in budget preparation and develop staff schedules within budget and staffing guidelines.

Vocational Supervisor

Do you have strong leadership skills, experience in vocational rehabilitation, and the desire to improve the lives of others? In the role of Vocational Supervisor, you will contribute to the company’s commitment to serve others by collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate and develop productive vocational activity programs.

• Work with vocational representatives from all applicable programs to coordinate job coaching services for community placements
• Serve as an active participant on the interdisciplinary treatment team, promoting staff and transdisciplinary teamwork
• Direct training of staff in the implementation of all therapeutic programming and ensure that training requirements are current
• Coordinate orientation of participants into the woodshop; work with appropriate staff to ensure safe operations and maintain inventory of woodshop supplies and equipment Ensure completion of relevant sections of evaluation, progress, and discharge reports in a timely manner
• Participate in budget preparation; develop work schedules, ensuring appropriate shift coverage at all times within budget and staffing guidelines
