The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Manager 1 to guide a district office and lead a team that helps individuals with disabilities prepare for successful careers. You will shape service delivery, manage staff, and support strong partnerships to deliver life-changing assistance.

You will oversee operations, monitor program performance, and ensure compliance with federal and state rules while supporting staff development and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Four years of professional social or human services experience that includes two years of professional experience working in programs that serve persons with disabilities and that includes or is supplemented by one year of professional supervisory or consultative social or human services experience.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes two years of professional experience working in programs that serve persons with disabilities and that includes or is supplemented by one year of professional supervisory or consultative social or human services experience.

• Strategic Planning: Develop plans that guide service delivery, funding use, and staffing needs
• Operational Oversight: Organize office functions, manage communication systems, and support community partnerships
• Staff Leadership: Provide direction, evaluate performance, and support professional growth for staff
• Fiscal Control: Monitor service funds and ensure spending aligns with goals and regulations
• Program Evaluation: Review office performance, assess service effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement
• Compliance Management: Ensure all services follow federal and state rules, agency policies, and procedures
