State of Oklahoma is hiring a Programs Manager in the Department of Rehabilitation Services to oversee the statewide Vocational Rehabilitation program, supervise professional staff, and drive program operations across multiple units.

The role requires advanced education and professional experience, with emphasis on leadership, policy interpretation, and stakeholder coordination to ensure compliant service delivery and effective program management.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 1 year of professional experience; or a bachelor’s degree and 2 years of professional experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Level III requires a master’s degree and 2 years of professional experience; or a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of professional experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs or supervises staff in the completion of assigned functions and activities.
• Develops and recommends policies, rules and regulations pertaining to administration of assigned programs.
• Directs studies of needs and analyzes information for program development and communicates interpretations of agency rules and policies.
• Reviews staff reports and program activities to evaluate effectiveness and accountability.
• Directs staff training programs and maintains sound personnel practices.
