State of Illinois, Department of Human Services, Division of Rehabilitation Services, seeks a Vocational Rehabilitation Case Coordinator (UMP) to manage customer case records and documents in a field office, support counselors, and facilitate service delivery under applicable rules and procedures.

This is a union, full-time position based at HQ in Rock Island, with occasional travel and a hybrid work schedule as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Requires four (4) years of high school completion.
• Requires two (2) years of clerical related experience that demonstrates keyboarding proficiency and accuracy.

Aufgaben

• Meets with counselor(s) routinely to review case management activities and problems encountered.
• Assists applicants, program participants, family members/guardians in understanding program rules and eligibility.
• Triages incoming mail, email, phone calls, voicemail, and drop-in customers.
• Meets with Vocational Rehabilitation Program staff to plan and discuss general casework activities.
• Performs other duties within the scope of duties enumerated.
