TheVocationalHabilitationProgramManageris responsibleforthe overall managementand daily operations of the VocationalHabilitation program,including supervising Direct Support Professional(s) and allparticipantswhile ensuring production goals are met. Allparticipants presenta wide range of physical and cognitive disabilities, requiring Individual Service Plans, constant supervision, andfrequentcommunication with theparticipant’scaregiversand Service and Support Administrators (SSA’s).

Essentialfunctions:
  • AdministerVocationalHabilitationprogramsforparticipants, includingassistanceindevelopingandmonitoringIndividual Service Plans(ISP)& Paths to Employment.
  • Participate in case reviews andserve as liaison between program providers, direct care staff and other support providers.
  • Provide documentation on program participants to ensure regulatory compliance standards, including CARF standards and reporting, and Developmental Disabilities reports for local,stateand federal agencies.

  • Represent Goodwill in the social services community; attend meetingswithrehabilitationandresidential service providersand required training ; serve as an advocate for people with disabilities in the four-county service area.
  • Pursue professional career development through continuing education and training opportunities;m aintainprofessionalcertifications and licensures for DD program compliance.
  • Promote positive teamwork among co-workers.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Attend safety trainings and follow all safety procedures and protocols toensure a safe and supervised work environment for all employees at all times.
  • Responsible for other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications and required skills:

  • 3 years experience in a supervisory role .
