Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Erie Huron Ottawa and Sandusky Counties Inc is seeking a Part-Time Vocational Habilitation Program Manager in Sandusky, OH. The role oversees the Vocational Habilitation program, supervising Direct Support Professionals and participants, ensuring ISP development, safety, and service quality.

The position reports to the Director of Mission Services, requires leadership, regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with SSA's and caregivers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate case reviews and liaise between providers, direct care staff and supports.
• Ensure regulatory compliance standards including CARF and DD reports.

Essentialfunctions:

• AdministerVocationalHabilitationprogramsforparticipants, includingassistanceindevelopingandmonitoringIndividual Service Plans(ISP)& Paths to Employment.
• Participate in case reviews andserve as liaison between program providers, direct care staff and other support providers.
• Provide documentation on program participants to ensure regulatory compliance standards, including CARF standards and reporting, and Developmental Disabilities reports for local,stateand federal agencies.

• Recommend strategies to improve services,trainingand opportunities for employment and/or toeliminatebarriers forparticipants.
• Establishandmaintainproductive and cordialrelationships withstate and local rehabilitative and developmental disabilities agencies to ensure quality service delivery forparticipants.
• Represent Goodwill in the social services community; attend meetingswithrehabilitationandresidential service providersand required training ; serve as an advocate for people with disabilities in the four-county service area.
• Pursue professional career development through continuing education and training opportunities;m aintainprofessionalcertifications and licensures for DD program compliance.
• Promote positive teamwork among co-workers.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Attend safety trainings and follow all safety procedures and protocols toensure a safe and supervised work environment for all employees at all times.
• Responsible for other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications and required skills:

• Experienceworking directly with individuals in the rehabilitative or developmental disabilities field.
• Independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities as well as excellent analytical andproblem-solvingskills.

Education and experience:

• High school diploma or GEDrequired. Bachelor’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Social Services, Special Education or related field preferred .
• 5 years experience working withadultswith disabilities or other rehabilitation services.
• 3 years experience in a supervisory role .
• Annual certificationsrequiredin First Aid and CPRand Provider Certificationtraining from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.
