Samaritan Daytop Village, Inc. is seeking an Employment Specialist to guide families in transitional housing through NYC HR systems and NYC ACCESS enrollment.

You will partner with Workforce One and other employment centers to assist clients in obtaining employment, conduct vocational assessments, and monitor progress toward goals. You will deliver job referrals and work as part of a multi-disciplinary case management team to support clients on their path to stable employment within the agency's

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with diverse populations.

Responsabilidades

• Performs initial vocational assessments for new clients and contributes to Independent Living Plan.
• Performs ongoing vocational assessments with training/employment goals.
• Provides individual/group counseling related to employment goals.
• Records client progress toward vocational goals in charts.
• Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary intensive case management team.
• Delivers informational vocational seminars to clients weekly.
• Refer clients to potential employment options/companies.
• Performs other tasks as required.
