The role partners with Workforce One Job Centers and other employment centers to connect clients with employment opportunities. You will conduct vocational assessments, monitor progress toward employment goals, and provide individual and group counseling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working directly with people from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial vocational assessments for new clients leading to services recommendations included in the Independent Living Plan.
• Performs ongoing vocational assessments for clients with training/employment goals in the ILP.
• Provides ongoing individual/group counseling to clients toward employment.
• Records client progress in charts for ILP vocational goals.
• Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary intensive case management team and communicates in case conferences.
• Delivers informational vocational seminars to clients weekly.
• Refers clients to potential employment options/companies.
• Performs other tasks as required.
