Job summary

The State of South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department invites you to join a team focused on helping individuals with disabilities achieve competitive employment. You will coordinate services including counseling, assessments, career exploration, and IPE design to guide clients toward their vocational goals.

Responsibilities include caseload management, collaboration with consumers, vendors, and medical professionals, and performing related duties.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or CSPD-qualified.
• Ability to counsel students/youth toward vocational goals via Individualized Plans for Employment (IPE).
• Strong communication with consumers, vendors, employers, the medical community, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services to assist people with disabilities to achieve competitive employment (including Deaf and Hard of Hearing caseload).
• Conduct and coordinate communication assessments, vocational assessments, career exploration, and job preparation instruction; design IPE.
• Complete caseload management activities weekly.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
