Job summary

NJAC is seeking a Vocational Specialist to empower adult residents in achieving their employment and educational goals. In this role, you will assess client abilities, develop individualized employment plans, and provide ongoing support.

Responsibilities include serving as a primary liaison between clients and employers, maintaining client records, and ensuring compliance with protocols. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required. This position includes standard work hours with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or six years of relevant experience; equivalent combination accepted.
• Experience supervising residential clients preferred.
• Must pass background checks including criminal and substance use.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate vocational opportunities for participants.
• Serve as liaison between employers and participants.
• Monitor client employment and community service logs.
