Job summary

JFCS of Southern New Jersey is seeking a Vocational Employment Specialist to help clients obtain and maintain competitive employment in Burlington County. The role builds employer partnerships and delivers high-quality, compassionate service with a focus on independence and self-sufficiency.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in human services, experience with the Ticket to Work program, a valid license, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field.
• Experienced in Social Security Ticket to Work Program.
• Certified Work Incentive Counselor preferred.
• Valid drivers’ license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develops employment opportunities for clients and assists clients with the transition to community-based employment.
• Contacts employers to develop and identify job opportunities and creates appropriate matches.
• Provides job-coaching services and liaises among employers, clients, and families.
• Completes and submits reports and maintains confidential case records.
