Job summary

Union Gospel Mission seeks a Vocational Advancement Coordinator to lead workforce readiness for LIFE Recovery Program residents in Spokane. You will manage vocational services, case management, and work therapy oversight, helping residents gain essential skills and sustainable employment.

You will build partnerships with employers, coordinate trainings, and promote program outcomes; candidates should be committed to the faith-based mission and collaborate with recovery staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Social Work or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to model servant-leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vocational services and case management to support reentry and self-sufficiency.
• Develop vocational readiness programming including job readiness and career exploration.
• Coordinate work therapy roles and oversee accountability processes.
• Maintain Individualized Vocational Plans (IVPs) and report progress.
• Build employer partnerships and coordinate workforce events.
• Collaborate with recovery and Aftercare staff for resident transition.
