Job summary

The Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in La Crosse, Wisconsin, seek a full-time Vocation Engagement Coordinator (32-40 hours/week) to join St. Rose Convent.

You will be the primary contact for individuals exploring religious life, developing engagement opportunities and providing introductory information and resources. You will collaborate with FSPA ministries, conduct preliminary screening, and guide inquiries toward discernment while maintaining welcoming relationships and records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ministry, communications, theology, marketing, higher education, nonprofit outreach, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to raise awareness of FSPA, Franciscan spirituality, religious life and vocation discernment.
• Build and maintain relationships with campus ministries, colleges, parishes and youth networks.
• Represent FSPA at conferences, vocation fairs and outreach events.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely, pastoral manner and provide information about FSPA and vocation discernment.
• Maintain appropriate records of inquiries, contacts and referrals.

Description

Come join the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration mission and ministry. We are seeking a full-time (32-40 hours/week) Vocation Engagement Coordinator to join our team at St. Rose Convent in La Crosse, WI.

Serving as the primary first point of contact for individuals exploring religious life with the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, in this role you would

develop opportunities for engagement, respond to inquiries, provide introductoryinformation and resources, and conducts preliminary screening to determine appropriate next steps. Working collaboratively with ministries within the FSPA, this position helps create a welcoming and intentional pathway from initial awareness and inquiry to serious discernment.

Requirements

We are looking for an energetic, caring individual who has:

• A Bachelor’s degree in ministry, communications, theology, marketing, higher education, nonprofit outreach, or a related field; equivalent professional experience in mentioned areas may be considered.
• Experience in outreach, relationship-building, communications, recruitment, ministry, or public engagement preferred
• Experience working with young adults, campus parish, or faith-based communities preferred.
• Familiarity with Catholic religious life, vocational discernment, Franciscan spirituality, or a demonstrated willingness and ability to develop this knowledge.
• Excellent written, verbal, digital and communication skills
• Strong organizational and project-management skills
• Strong administrative skills, including recordkeeping, database management, reporting, budgeting and follow through
• Ability and willingness to travel and work occasional evenings or weekends as required by scheduled activities and events

• Represent FSPA at conferences, vocation fairs, gatherings, workshops, campus and parish programs, and other outreach opportunities
• Respond to prospective inquiries in a timely and pastoral manner, providing appropriate information and resources regarding FSPA, religious life, Franciscan spirituality and vocation discernment
• Maintain appropriate records of inquiries, contacts, screening information, communication, and referrals
