Jazz Power Initiative seeks a Vocal Teacher Assistant for the Fall Training season. You will teach Saturday mornings private and semi-private voice lessons and lead Jazz Power Fundamentals I, a hands-on class introducing students to jazz culture, keyboard basics, listening, and improvisation.
The role includes Wednesday sessions in voice, movement, and storytelling, with some support for those sessions. Seasonal independent contractor role, $20–$50/hour depending on experience.
Jazz Power Initiative is looking for an experienced jazz vocalist and educator to join our Jazz Power Youth Workshop as a Vocal Teacher Assistant for the Fall Training season. Reporting to our Vocal Director, you'll teach Saturday morning private and semi-private voice lessons and lead Jazz Power Fundamentals I, a hands‑on class that introduces students to jazz culture, basic keyboard, listening and learning with the jazz masters, and improvisation. Our fall session also includes Wednesday classes in voice, movement, and storytelling, with some opportunities to support those sessions.
