Accounting Search is seeking an Assistant Program Director – VN Program in California to support the Campus Program Director in managing the Vocational Nursing program. The role involves planning, developing, and evaluating the program, coordinating state board reports, securing outside resources, and ensuring clinical rotations meet objectives.

A California BRN license and 4+ years of RN clinical experience are required.

Qualifications

Masters or higher degree in nursing, education, or administration.
At least 3 years leading a nursing program.
At least 3 years as full-time faculty in pre- or post-licensure nursing.
At least 1 year online teaching experience.
At least 4 years RN direct care in geriatrics/medical-surgical/psychiatric/obstetrics/ pediatrics in past 5 years.
Current BRN license in California.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

Assist Director with planning, developing, managing and evaluating all aspects of the program.
Prepare data and materials for state and Board requirements, reports, proposals, self-studies, surveys, and site visits.
Identify and obtain outside resources for the nursing program.
Ensure clinical experiences meet objectives; supervise evaluations.
Maintain student records according to policies.
Teach theory or clinical half of the time.
Submit required program reports to the Director.
Stay current with safety regulations and new technologies.
Provide advising support to potential students.
