Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a VMware Engineer to join a National Security Contract located in Quantico, VA with 100% onsite presence. The VMware Engineer will modernize existing infrastructure by designing, configuring, and implementing optimization strategies.

Responsibilities include:

• Design plans for operational excellence, performance, efficiency, and disaster recovery
• Implement VMware solutions to consolidate servers
• Monitor VI performance and optimize
• Build out and maintain security measures for virtualized environments

Qualifications include:

• 5+ years of experience with VMware, vSphere, vCenter Server, ESXi, vMotion, HA, DRS, vSAN
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery for virtualized environments
• VMware Certification (VCP, VCAP, VCDX, etc.)
• Active Secret Clearance

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience)
