Job summary

AFC Industries in Arlington, TX is looking for a VMI Tech to handle route delivery and material scheduling for customers across various industries. You will convert scanned orders, respond to stock shortages, and maintain organized, clean facilities at client sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Pay is $18.00 per hour, with Monday through Friday hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and competitive

Qualifications

• Experience with route service preferred and attentive to details.

Responsibilities

• Route delivery and special delivery management.
• Material scheduling at customer facilities and order conversion.
• Expedite responses to stock issues and communicate with service teams.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness at customer facilities.
• Report customer concerns to the account manager.

VMI Tech

• Route Delivery and Special Delivery
• Material scheduling at customer facilities
• Convert scanned orders to sales orders
• Expedite and react to customer no stock and low stock situations
• Maintain organization and cleanliness at customer facilities
• Communicate customer complaints or requests to customer service and the account manager.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Education:

• A high school diploma or GED is required.

Work Experience:

• Must have a Good Driving Record with Valid Driver's License, MVR is required for this role

Professional Skills:

• Good interpersonal and written communication skills with attention to detail. Previous route service experience is preferred.

Work Hours: 8AM to 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday
