Job description

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist to join our team in North Haven, CT. This role is responsible for managing daily orders within strategic accounts to ensure adequate product supply and replenishment.

Pay Range: $27.51 - $40.35 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will be doing (1st Shift)

• Providing high standards of customer service
• Visiting pre-determined customers daily for Vendor Managed Inventory (cylinders and hardgoods)
• Ensuring accuracy of orders, pricing, and processing in JD Edwards
• Converting orders into customer purchase order format and emailing to purchasing
• Writing credit memos on returned hard goods during onsite orders
• Seeking opportunities to promote LG&E Express or EDI payments to reduce transaction costs
• Identifying & documenting Prostar conversion opportunities and reviewing quarterly with Territory Managers
• Delivering products to customers as needed
• Communicating effectively with GSM, TM, and Distribution Supervisors
• Assisting with cylinder audits and visiting new customer sites as needed
• Performing other duties as assigned
