VMI Sales Specialist (Finance)

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist to join our team in North Haven, CT. This role involves managing daily orders within strategic accounts to ensure adequate product supply and replenishment.

Pay Range: $27.51 - $40.35 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality customer service
2. Visit pre-determined customers daily requiring VMI (cylinders and hardgoods)
3. Ensure accuracy of orders, pricing, and processing in JD Edwards
4. Convert orders into customer purchase order format and email to purchasing
5. Write credit memos for returned hard goods onsite
6. Identify opportunities to convert customers to LG&E Express or EDI payments
7. Document Prostar conversion opportunities and review quarterly with Territory Managers
8. Deliver products as needed
9. Communicate effectively with GSM, TM, and Distribution Supervisors
10. Assist with cylinder audits and visit new customer sites as needed
11. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; Bachelor's degree preferred
2. Computer skills, especially Excel; JD Edwards experience preferred
3. Strong communication skills
4. High standards of honesty and integrity
