AMTRACO is seeking a Route Sales Driver to serve customers across Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota. The role involves maintaining inventories, processing orders, handling inquiries, and supporting on-the-road relationships while representing the company.

Position includes base pay, monthly commission, and quarterly bonuses. Expect extensive travel within the designated region and opportunities for performance-based incentives and growth within AMTRACO’s network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of related experience and/or training.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in office equipment and software (word processing, spreadsheets, database applications).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the designated region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled physical inventories for existing customers and obtain purchase orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Organize, label, and cycle inventory in customer storage areas.
• Respond to questions about products, pricing, availability, and product use within your authority and knowledge.
• Process incoming orders for your territory, up-selling when possible, and notifying the territory representative of key activities.
• Work closely with outside sales representatives to understand customer needs and prepare samples as needed.
• Investigate and help resolve product claims and complaints, recommending corrective actions as appropriate.
• Prepare and submit regular activity, sales volume, and expense reports.
